Hello, my name is Carly Goldstein. For my Kishrei Halev project, I’m going to do something that is very near and dear to my heart. That is theatrical arts.
For many years I have been taking acting courses at the Cool School, at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. The Cool School is a great place for anyone who loves to act, dance, and sing. I would hate for someone not to be able to go just because of financial problems. That is why I’m having a variety show at the Temple.
The money raised will go to a scholarship for an aspiring actress or actor. I know that there is a lot of talent in our Hebrew School and Youth Group. That talent will be showcased at the “Temple Full of Stars” variety show.
The show will take place on March 25th at 5:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. If you are in the Hebrew School or Youth Group, and would like to sign up, the sign up sheet is outside of Mrs. Stanway’s office. If you would like to purchase a ticket to the variety show, tickets are on sale in the Front Office. The tickets prices are: $2- for children 3-18 $5- for adults FREE- for anyone 65 or over, but donations are greatly appreciated. Hope to see you there! Sincerely, Carly Goldstein
