Spreading the Gift of Music For my Kishrei Halev project, I wanted to combine a few things that I love: helping people, music, and, of course, jewelry. So I figured out my project.


I made approximately 40 pairs of earrings and sold them. The money I raised was used to buy a trumpet which we donated to a Neptune Elementary School so that a student who might not otherwise be able to buy or lease an instrument could take music lessons offered through the school and learn how to play.


Since I’m now focused on playing guitar and piano, I also decided to donate my clarinet which I’m no longer using. I hope they will love music as much as I do! Here’s a picture of me donating my clarinet to Mr. Rusty Palmer, the Director of Bands for the Neptune Elementary Schools.
